Thanks for the suggestion, but that actually wasn't what the problem was. I finally figured out a way to force everything to where it's supposed to be using CSS (specifically the "position: absolute" attribute).

And, actually, Blogger is quite stingy about the code being proper (in their eyes), so if there was a hanging
tag (or, what usually happens to me, a tag will be opened, but not closed), it will not let you preview or save the template.

Thanks for stopping by ;)

And, by the way, if you want to make the symbols for the less-than and greater than, you can use this - "& l t ;" and "& g t ;" (without the spaces, natch) which yields < and > respectively :)

My blog sometimes has problems where the right sidebar appears under the posts. This is because in the post I've just made (or a previous one, but I catch it once I post by checking on the main page that the blog looks okay) there are too many breaks that don't have "partners" if that makes sense. Like if I have < p >blah blah< /p >
< p >blah blah< p >haha< /p >
See I'm missing a < /p > ?

I don't know if it's the same thing, but that's the only reason my sidebar appeared under all the posts at the bottom of the page, just thought I'd throw it out there. :)

Edit: I had to add spaces above.
