Yeah I often crash and burn too. The tricks I learned were a) don't beat yourself up if you don't get everything done. Are the dishes police really going to come and tell you off if the dishes don't get done that day? and b) if you have too many things to do, I do a brain dump, and spread them out over a few days.

I started out just writing down what I HAD to do on a certain day: eg today: 8:30 leave for swimming lessons, home at 10:00. Delivery arrives at 12pm. Make delivery at 3pm. Start dinner at 5pm. then slot in the things I needed reminding to do around those.

Kin - I don't know if you knew this, but I've tried to do the to-do list thing a few times in the past. It would start out great, but within about a week, I'd just stop doing it. I don't exactly know why that was, but if I had to guess it was that I was under the assumption that I had things under control again. However, things are more under control when I just keep forcing myself to do it, even when I don't want to.

Thanks! :)

Good job on the todo lists Sephy! I found they quickly became a habit for me too, and now what else is saving me heaps of time is leaving my blog reading until I have time to answer everything I want to. It's definitely making a difference!
