This was the Week that Was, Vol. 29

There’s something for everybody in here! πŸ™‚

Posts I liked –

  • ABC Radio’s Glenn Mitchell ponders the cricket controversy, and especially how everyone’s movements are put under a powerful microscope. However, are we too hasty to judge?
  • This is definitely something I can relate to, as I like watching these shows myself. However, I just don’t buy anything, unlike Snoskred, who shops at the Comedy Channel. By the way, you can watch TVSN online – in widescreen (BTW, this will start up the player automatically). πŸ˜‰
  • What happens when you close comments to unregistered users? The number of comments goes down. However, there is always the possibility that the Holidays had something to do with the change as well.
  • Webcomic xkcd has researched a number of ways people die, at least according to Google.
  • If you upload images to your Blogger blog, they’re all being indexed by Google. Personally, that’s another reason to move to independent hosting – that way you have control over your images being indexed or not…

  • face in a tree – Ones made of different materials are OK, but if you’re faced with a real face, you should call 911, 999, 000, 112 or your local emergency phone number!
  • kerry o’keeffe digital download – If you know where to find his CDs in MP3 format, I’m interested… πŸ™‚

  • www.http//google search give me nigeria post code – I don’t think Nigeria has postcodes. However, I haven’t seen many scammers’ addresses for a while…
  • drive a fake plane on the internet – You could try Google Earth, otherwise, you can find copies of Microsoft Flight Simulator out there…
  • american provincialism australians – That is probably something I shouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole…

  • making all wordpress links no follow – put this into your header.php file – <meta robots="nofollow">

This week around the blog, I showed you how to add a new dictionary to Firefox, along with asking for some advice.

I also showed what I can do with a WordPress theme. However, the author of the theme has asked me to remove the download. This has inspired me to make my own theme, however. πŸ˜‰

Til Next week y’all! πŸ˜‰
