You forget these things…

One thing that you forget about is the number of plugins you have on a blog. That is until you complete an upgrade of it.

I just upgraded to 2.3.2, and while turning the plugins off is easy – using the click to deactivate all button – turning them on can get, well, tedious. 😉 However, I’d rather have to go through the work of turning them on one at a time than turning them all on in one fell swoop, and my site going boom (kinda like what happened when I upgraded without turning the plugins off…)

All I’m doing now is doing the last step of the simple upgrade installation, which is to write a blog post about it. Also, this gives me the opportunity to show off what the window looks like with the Spanish spellcheck turned on; just another case of spelling right, but just using the wrong words, according to the dictionary. 🙂

That’s why we have the English dictionary. :)

Another thing that this lets me do is show off something I’ll talk a bit more about tomorrow – a theme I’ve redesigned. Basically, this was the theme I was going to use for this site originally, but it was a bit too cumbersome for me to work with as a newbie to WordPress. However, now that I have some more experience when it comes to working with templates and WordPress’ files, I went back to this theme and did a bit of work on it, and this is the result:
