I've been using WordPress for almost 4 years (3 on my main blog). I do respect your opinions in that I can see where you're coming from. There are a bunch of generalizations that should never be entered into a public post liek that. I for one don't like broad generalizations (even though I probably do it a lot). Anyway, I fired it up yesterday and so far I think I know it inside out, I don't really see more than a 10 minute learning curve, again, just my opinion. They have already mentioned incompatibilities with plugins. I run a lot of plugins. If it wasn't for the plugins I wouldn't be using Wordpress, I would have chosen Drupal. I'd like to see this upgrade put off permanently. And I think I personally will be putting it off as long as I can. The root of the excitement is mainly around the functionality of my own plugins.
