This was the Week that Was, Vol. 18
Posts, US Blogs and some keywords. This must be the week that was!
Posts I liked -
- Snoskred makes the case for buying a front-load washer - you need to read this: Humans Let us All Waste Water.
- There was a debate in Australia the other night. However, Channel 9 caused controversy when they used their live tracking device. John at Idents.tv shares the news (and a clip from the West Wing) with The Great Debate and the Pirates of Television
- Speaking of the election, Meg shared a page from Advanced Hair Hats featuring John and Kevin’s Hair - yeah! yeah! - even if you’re not into politics, you have to check this out
- Alynda took her Kidlets to Sydney for a field trip
Blogging items -
- Katie offers Seven reasons (plus a few others) why your blog is scary
- Lucia gives you the Top 11 reasons NOT to link an A-List blogger. It’s irony, folks
- Tay’s content has been taken by another blogger. Is your content being stolen?
- K-IntheHouse is running a contest where you can win a couple of 1 gig storage devices
New blogs this week in the US Blogs community at BumpZEE -
- Mommy Monsters Inc.
- Streams of Mercy
- Silent Canticle
- Peripheral Vision
- Preposterous Ponderings
- Between thought and expression
- 3 AM Designs
Keywords -
how to use google calendar - sign up there and then read my post on it
most haunted live eastern time - sometime on last Friday; I saw it while flipping channels..
google search too wide box - you can control the width of the search box - use the width property ![]()
pamala anderson fuck vidio - Er, no. If you want to see that, may I suggest another site?
(ironically, they got sent to an old blogger archive page, which are all 404 now)
making link no follow - just put rel=”nofollow” inside the link code
This week around the blog, I’m still learning all the intricacies of WordPress, including some of the plugins. This includes tweaking the TanTanNoodles spam plugin - it’s caught 53 spam comments and trackbacks so far.
I blogged about my old desk and my new desk. I also participated in a meme that Snos started with Inside the Actors Studio….
In the Tuesday Think Tank, I tied up a loose end on blogger by showing you how to Move your Blogspot blog to your own domain with ease.
Coming up, tomorrow we will be looking at Skype - Snos will discuss how you can save money, and I’ll tell you how you can sign up for it, and show you a cool number that popped up on my Skype today.
Later on this week, I’ll be talking about catching up with an old friend, and tell you a story about my good friend “Mr. Clueless.” He’s not as clueless as you may think.
Til next week y’all!
